What If???

Post by Rose »

If size and money were no problem and some one offered to give you just one Pattern to stitch but it had to be finished within 12 month what ONE pattern would you chose? They would pay for everything charts, floss, cloth, frame and professional framing......

I would chose The Nativity Pattern Set by Serendipity this was a pattern that was designed over a 3 year period. It is a large pattern that when done you frame in a hinged gold frame it is gorgeous and I would love to have the time to do this and give it to my son.

I hadn't heard of this design, Rose, but found it on eBay. It's just beautiful. I think if I had ten years, and not just one, I would have a go at the Sistine Chapel. Have you seen this? it's absolutely amazing. It took Joanna Lopianowski-Roberts 10 years to stitch - 2,872 hours, 628,296 stitches.

With just one year I think it would be Van Gogh's 'Field with Poppies'. I like to think I could create my own masterpiece to hang on my wall. :)
