i won a prize again!!

hi everybody,
i wanted to share good news that i won a mystery prize for my items stitched in the new issue of cross stitch crazy-88.

a month back i had sent some photos of the items that i have stitched,in them i had stitched a scissor fob using the rose alphabet which they had published in their issue -86!!

i am very happy to receive the mystery prize from them, which includes, a few aperture cards, aida cloth,which have glitter in them!!
i am very happy to have won the prize again!!

Nope... but I will now! lol! If i can get it, I'll send it to you, if you wish. I'll have a look at the supermarket tonight (sometimes they only have CrossStitcher and The World of Cross Stitching). I'll let you know!

The supermarket didn't have it (Asda... grrr! A few years ago they di all the different cross stitch mags, but now mostly card mags)... sorry! I will try to look for it next time I'm in town during the day though, but at the moment there can be months between my towntrips. I'll let you know if I get my hands on one, though, and it will be all yours!

it's ok , please don't bother ur self,i have asked my friend in the uk-linda, to send it across, she might send it either today or tommorrow!

i usually send her anchor floss skeins in return for magazines as anchor threads are available at low rates in india, for eg., it is 42 pence in the uk, but after currency conversions, i can buy around 50 to 60 skeins for a pound!!

one pound is equal to 75 indian rupees.
one anchor skein in india costs just 5 rupees,hence i can get more than 50 nos for a pound.If any body wants me to send them , please email me and i will be happy to send across, we can trade something in return.

we even get beads etc at throw away prices,
seed bead are available as 10 grams for 10 rupees, hence i can send 7 different shades of beads for a pound!!

i have recently sent a parcel of anchor skeins to fiarie56 ,who lives in mexico,on this forum!!

I did recieve th parcel with the Anchor floss from shubha, thanks! She even sent me a gift, a long stitch kit of a puppy! How sweet! Eben with the postage, the price of the floss balances it out. Since I can't get the complete line of Anchor here, I'm really pleased with the trade.
