Good question.
There's definitely a need for a forum, that this one fills admirably, for sensible and good natured discourse as well as a range of projects from the 1-2hr to the 5-10 year project & everything between.

I searched around a bit prior to coming here & didn't find anything else that I felt was as wide ranging, good natured & as good a 'fit' with what I was interested in. That is, in a large part, due to the moderation team setting the tone and allowing space without either being overly proscriptive or excessively relaxed. You, and the other mods, have done a mighty fine job of striking a very fine balance, if I may say so.

Regards,

Richard.
