We have green tree frogs here. There's one over-wintering in one of my patio plant pots. I found it accidentally when watering the plant! Gave :ribbit: it a bit of a shock too!!!

Great to have that little frog Wendy, they are such a vibrant green aren't they? Do they eat garden insects like ordinary ones do? Jet was playing with a tiny one just after Christmas; it was about three quarters of an inch long & dark brown. I moved it to behind a large flower planter near the shed for the frog's own safety. Think is must live under the shed as it is slightly raised.

I'm not sure what they eat, but I'm hoping that they eat mosquitoes as we get them here :tizzy: :tizzy:

(In the spring and summer I get tree frogs on the glass of my french doors at night. The light from the house draws bugs to the doors and they jump to get them. Then get all plastered to the door until the next bug shows up. Keeps Laverne entertained since she jumps at the frog to try to catch it. Sometimes that will make the frog jump. Often not, as it seems to know she can't get through the door)
