Thank you Serinde ^_^ I don't get to do much cross stitch these days, although I'm still very much attached to a needle and thread  These days I'm primarily a dress maker, but I do still cross stitch when I've got time and space to settle down long enough :D Which is not often now my daughter is 3 and insanely active. I suspect she has ADHD like her mummy because she has exactly the same problems as I did as a child (I know how to work around my issues these days). But I'm going to try and be more active here ^_^

Thank you :) she’s completely awesome! She also loves sewing. She can use my big sewing machines and has done her own hand sewn projects too. Not quite ready for cross stitch yet, but she’s only just three

It’s so cute isn’t it? She loves sewing, I totally got her to love a needle and thread from an early age  It’s great because she sees with me, but anything really complicated, like my cross stitch, takes too much concentration and too long to do alongside her. So it’s a holiday activity now when my free babysitters will happily watch her while I hide with my stitching

We also have a thread for non-stitching creative endeavours, of course... and would love to see pictures. :camera:

Oh yes. She's my little star  And I'm completely biased

I'll pop a post up with some of my favourite projects in a bit. I made Christmas outfits for my daughter, her doll and myself. We look awesome all together for the five minutes before she added trolls leggings

Happy forumversary Angel. I’m glad you are well. I did wonder how you were as we hadn’t heard from you for a while. That elephant is absolutely gorgeous

She's a very busy little girl. She's upset with me though because I didn't pack a sewing kit for our Christmas holiday so she can't sew at the moment :P I see a trip to the shop coming up later today
