Pretty Xmas chart

Post by kingfisher68(2) »

Just found this lovely Xmas chart. Not heard of this website before but decided to look in & saw this. I have not done a x stitch like this before but will buy the chart in the New Year & stitch it for us for Xmas 2018. I have several projects in mind to keep me busy for a few months & I can start this later on.

This is downloadable & there is a box top right of the web page so you can alter it to your currency.

Stunning Izzi bet you can't wait to start! I was looking at that website a few weeks ago and admiring the beautiful biscornu patterns. I would like to try a biscornu at some point as I've never done one before :)

I've ordered from Creative Poppy before (don't remember exactly what though) and get their newsletters and am tempted on a regular basis. I'm sure you will enjoy stitching that lovely design!

Those chicken in the chart are great Wendy. Unusual design, good to have something different isn't it? As for me waiting for the chart, have a feeling it will be before Xmas but not just yet. Recently had a big splurge so it would be November before I would buy it. Had new glasses & dental work done plus bought 3 Dimensions Gold Petite kits; the charming kitten to do again (will do that the normal way not in reverse x stitch), the dark blue geisha I scrapped & the sister one to that which I did as a gift a few years ago. These are all for us this time. Also yesterday took out a delivery pass for groceries as we learned this week DH has emphysema. I did wonder as his breathing is becoming very bad & as winter approaches thought it safer to get groceries delivered as I don't drive. DH is to see a specialist within next couple of weeks so he may need oxygen to help him.

I buy Dimensions kits from Supermart USA via their Amazon storefront. They are a lot cheaper than bought in UK & include P&P. Also bought a printed/tapestry kit from Perrysmart in USA via Amazon as they are cheaper too.

Nicola, love those designs, so many pretty ones. Gorgeous biscornu, humbugs, Xmas decorations etc. Then, I came across this one. OMG just I love it but it will definitely sit on the back burner until next year.

Thank goodness these are downloads as I told DH the 3 I am waiting for were to be the last - well in the mail anyway, So many beautiful things to make. I hope I live until 130!! :)

Shannon's designs are really lovely, and btw, she was a member of the forum under the name Lasting Allure. She has a website where you can see (and purchase) her designs:

A friend of mine just finished the peacock design and it's so much more beautiful than in this picture:

Thank you for the link. I have signed up for her newsletter as she has pretty things. Lovely to know that another forum member has done all these designs.

That peacock is most unusual & so very colourful. Another kaleidoscope design. I can imagine how great your friends looks :D

Aren't we lucky to have such a wide variety of designs to suit all tastes? Sometimes it is lovely to just sit & relax by looking at the projects available & see how creative designers are. Even plainer ones look great when the correct colours are chosen :)
