This came up in my emails from Sew and So so had to check it out! I've just pre-ordered the lovely collection of 35 brand new DMC threads coming out in October and presented in a lovely collector's tin. RRP is £35 but if you buy now you get it for £25. Thought I would show my stitchy friends

Thanks for letting us know. I will definitely be ordering this too. I have a full set of every colour so far so will need this to complete the collection.

Does anyone know if these colours are planned to become a permanent part of the range?

The price of 71.4p per skein isn't bad. Shame as to the timing - sending both kids to University has been expensive this year.

It says in the description Richard "For the first time in over a decade, DMC have launched 35 beautiful new colours to add to their DMC Mouline Stranded Cotton range, taking the total up to 500" so I assume so

Lovley shades. Gives more to the theory about numbering, they do bring out new shades every so often I don't need the tine so will buy them later on.

Just checked Lakeside Needlecrafts & they have it at £24.50 so a good offer by Sewandso. Lakeside Needlecrafts are usually cheaper than S&S. Have found Very Crafty to be cheapest of all but they don't have this tin at the moment.

I got an email from Sew and So yesterday saying that my order was on its way! Can't wait to get my new threads!

Mine are coming from England too. Has anybody come across a design which involves these new threads?

Sally here's the thread I made last year about them! They are lovely and the tin is really nice too. You also get some free charts inside xxx

Yes I did see those at the time but they didn't impress me as it is the mauve shades I am wanting to expand and there don't seem to be any of that shade in them. Thanks anyway for the heads up.
