Yes, indeed he will be missed by music lovers world wide!! One of the first 45's that I ever bought as a child was By the Time I Get To Phoenix---such wonderful memories--especially as I was only a pre teen when I bought it and used money that I had saved up from my allowance. Thank goodness his music lives on and may his family find comfort knowing that he is now at peace!!

I was lucky to be able to see Glen Campbell in Aberdeen, Scotland during his Goodbye Tour in 2011.
It must have taken a great deal of courage for him to be on stage. Members of his family were there to help and guide him as his condition was evident especially during the latter half of the concert. He also had to use a prompter a few times to help him with the words of his songs.
But, he still managed to put on a great performance. His guitar playing was superb, and he proved the magic was still there!
The atmosphere in the auditorium was electric and we gave him a well deserved standing ovation at the end.
It was a night to remember.

Rest well, Mr. Campbell. Your music will live on.
