Edit:
Ok, I just clicked on the link up above and it downloaded the picture into my 'download" files in my computer, is that what it normally does?
Linda, did you select the BBcode - right click, copy and paste ?
Not sure, will try again.

As it seems to work I'm now uploading everything that was on PB to PostImage. The only drawback I've found so far is that I can't see how to move pics from one folder to another, but if that's the only thing I'm not too bothered :-)

Just tried to look at Donna, Karen and Mabel's stitches but when I click onto the little photos to view them larger it's still coming up with a blank page :tantrum: It's so annoying as I would love to see them at a larger scale. Does anyone know why this is happening? :(

:thinks: :thinks: :thinks: OK let's look at possible causes. What sort of device are you using, with what operating system and what browser?

I'm on my Acer laptop which has Windows 10 on it and I use Mozilla Firefox for my internet. I've just opened up Microsoft Edge and it did work but it came up with a separate page saying 'This content can't be shown in a frame' so I clicked the 'Open this in a new window' and it worked it sent me to the Post Image link to the photo. I don't get anything like this when I use Firefox just the blank screen that I took a screenshot of before

I don't use Windows 10 so perhaps others who do could say whether it works for them on FF?

FF updates automatically, doesn't it, so you should have the latest version. Hmm :thinks: :thinks: . I'll try and think if there could be anything in your browser settings. I use an ad blocker and that doesn't seem to interfere with it, but could there be privacy add-on, other types of blockers, using a VPN perhaps?

Hmmm I have no idea whenever people have posted their photos before either Photobucket, Flickr or the Gallery on the forum I've always been able to see them. It's just this Post Image website which is ashame :( Is there a way people can upload the photos so they're slightly larger like 640x480 size? That way you can see the photo on their thread and don't have to click to see it larger? I will probably just go onto Microsoft Edge if I want to see the photos as that seemed to work. Thanks for your help Mabel xxx

I've had to delete my animated Puffin from my signature as it seems to be hosted by PB! I was sent it by Coffee-freak many years back and now it seems that I shouldn't have used it.

I've always used Tinypics for my photo sharing here.

Yes there is - I've just worked it out and am now using it in my WIP thread.

As I said they do like you to link back to their site, and as that is about the only condition/restriction there is I'm happy to oblige (it isn't even a restriction as such, as you can ignore it). I thought that meant you could only use thumbnails, but it isn't

If you choose to upload your pictures in 640x480 size, and then choose "Share" "Hotlink for forums", it will still link back to them but show at the larger size.

This does mean that clicking on it doesn't show it any larger, but people could, if they want to link to a very large image, upload it twice (as there is no space restriction), once 640x480 to show in the thread, and once full-size, to show as a thumnail which people can click on (choose "Share" "Thumbnail for forums")

Hope that helps!

In a few days when I have some time because I have massive amounts of photos to move after I finish this project- I'm going to see if google images will work for me.

I'm really annoyed by this PB thing. This is just honestly unacceptable. Ugh.
