Hi everyone,
Second time typing this...hit the wrong button and lost everything I wanted some feedback from those of you who use mag eyes. I read some older posts but I want something that has a light and various magnification lenses and there is so many out there to choose from. Can you help? Thank you!

Re: Mag Eyes
I use them with a light.
The type I use are the same as these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LED-Lamp-Head ... 1a239735db
The LED batteries last a fair time, the magnification augments your normal vision at the same range, so if you need glasses without it on, you'll still need glasses. It's reasonably comfortable, but I find I need a break from the magnification after an hour. The minimum magnification is what I find best for 28ct. The lenses also rest on the end of my nose if not properly set up.
They are not a fashion accessory, and you look a complete nincompoop while wearing them. I am comfortable wearing them in the local library for the bi-weekly knit & natter, but there are those who would be mortified to be seen in them.
Regards,
Richard.
