The habits of a shopaholic with stash and some projects
So yes I am a craft shopaholic as that is all i want to buy outside of what my dogs need. I don't need clothes, books, shoes any of that stuff and all my mind revolves around is crafts..So this will kind be my new stash showing off/ on going projects thread instead of starting tons of new ones...LOL
Since work is killing me i went on a slight bender...I love the hand dyed products from Fiberlicious Yummy Fibers. She was just patterns and thread but has now expanded into fabric. So as a treat for myself I joined 3 of her monthly clubs. 1 fotm, 1 5 skeins of spun silk, and 1 10 skeins of cotton clubs. The fabric will be 16x27 opal 18 cound aida. I also bought a standalone piece of opal 18 count in 13x17 for an ink circle chart i bought. I rescued a fotm piece from last month from people canceling their invoices after the piece had already been dyed. It's a 13x17 piece of monaco. I got got 2 16 themed packs of spun silk. the hawaiian splendor for the ink circles chart and one for a future start on northern expressions needlework's peacock band sampler. I also got another thread pack for the peacock mandala to get it all finished.....

Well the purple fabric and second big pack with the purples oranges and other colors will do this http://www.123stitch.com/item/Ink-Circl ... rn/09-2452 ....Serinde wrote:Oh, YUM!! Can't wait to see what gorgeous creations these are used to stitch.
The other two fabrics I do not have any plans yet tho I may do a charting creations on the bigger fabric or get another NEN for it as I want one of the shades series..possibly shades of red. And the yellow I just bought it on the fly cause she had 2 from people canceling their invoices and it was a fly by the seat of my pants decision.
The first big pack is for the peacock band sampler by NEN and i still need the fabric, beads, and chart for it. and the clubs I am not sure what I want to do with them yet and i am using the peacock set of 5 colors to complete my peacock mandala.

Yup Atilla the Hun..aka Mom was not happy about it and all I did was laugh. Work really has me messed up cause she'd been off her meds a couple days for a balance test so laughing at her as she was yelling at me was not smart.rcperryls wrote:Me too! What a beautiful range of lovely stash!
And certainly, once the bills are all paid and you have put a bit by for the inevitable rainy day, you have earned your money fair and square. Old habit die hard, though! (It's taken me years to learn to bite my tongue regarding how my boys spend their, equally hard-earned, money.)
