Re: Biggest project you have done?
I work on it for a few months; it's HAED Candied Apples and Candy Corn. It will be 29 in X 25 in, stitched on Aida 18 ct. I work on it everyday, but it will surely take a few years before I finish...
Work in progress:

Re: Biggest project you have done?
Size is a little misleading since we can make a small project large or a large project much smaller depending on the fabric count we use. The largest project I have a picture of is Vanitas Still Life. It is 344 x 250 stitches.
My current project -- Color of the Wolf -- is over twice that number of stitches. (If I can ever finish this birth announcement so I can get back to it.)

Re: Biggest project you have done?
Physically my biggest project was this:
30"W x 19"H, however it was only 46382 stitches - my charting program gives the exact number of stitches, I didn't sit there & count). Took about 10 months.
Largest completed project by stitch count is my first ever project, at something like 59,700 stitches (it was a kit and I got bored, so did sit there & count the unstitched squares and deducted it from the maximum possible 87,500):
This took 354 days (got the kit 11 Jan 2011, finished 11.59PM 31 Dec 2011)
For highest stitch count ever started, but not due to be finished until 2020, that's my current Luis Royo 'Luz' at 110730 stitches:
It's only 10.5"W x 16"H, so quite small due to the 28ct fabric & stitch size.
Current progress:
Been at it every other month for a year.
Regards,
Richard.

Re: Biggest project you have done?
To post any of my work here under the original heading would be ludicrous compared to the projects shown above - I am definitely a small project girl - so I will be a rebel and post some of the smallest things I've done. These are all complete projects in themselves, not part of a sampler or anything. From least small to smallest they are Pansy (13x13), Kingfisher on Tree Stump (14x9 - I want to try this on the wooden pendant) and Cat (10x8):
Stitch-wise, the smallest is this tray cloth I designed for my MIL's doll's house, stitched on 60ct silk gauze

Re: Biggest project you have done?
This is the largest project I've completed
It's mirabilia aprils blue diamond. Must have purchased it back in 2005/6 I tried to get it started then. But struggled with it. I put grid lines on which didn't help. I had it on a floor stand and it just got dusty. Finally after 2 washes I restarted it ( originally I completed half of the white skirt) in sept 2016 and finished it oct 2016.

Superb stitching of the larger projects but I must admit I find Mabel's miniatures so delightful. Good to see such a variety of projects made by forum members.
