As a part of our tenth anniversary year, a new gallery to showcase the best work by our members is now up and ready to be filled with lovely stitching and other crafts featured on the forum.

The Best of the Forum 2006–2016 is the newest community gallery, and you'll find it at the very top of the page by clicking on "Gallery".

The idea is to pick what you personally think is the best thing you've created in the last ten years -- hugely difficult, of course, but fun, too.

It operates just like any other gallery. You must be a member with 10 contributions on threads to enter a piece. Luckily, there is a delete button, so you can change your mind and put up something else. Who knows? Perhaps your greatest work is still a WIP (or even a UFO!).

I am so looking forward to what everyone picks. This is going to be an awesome gallery!!!

I've added mine......There are some wonderful pictures there already.

Beautiful picks so far! I put my choice up.

Those are all beautiful - it's fun to see so many different types of designs.

Laura those are beautiful - how long did it take to stitch them? They look pretty detailed and labor intensive.

It's exciting to see all these 'treasures' displayed.

I've added mine---it's so nice to see so many wonderful photos--but we do need more!!

I added mine too. It's my all time favorite and hangs in my livingroom

I couldn't make my mind up so asked hubby what he thought was the best thing I have done. He thought my Mabel's Song of the Weather was the best but I haven't yet managed to take a nice photo of the whole thing so until I do, I have posted another hardanger one up.

And it is beautiful! In fact, all the pieces -- there are now 10 -- are so different from each other. Love Rose's quilt, too. There's a labour of love.

My quilt so far has been my best piece. I am just blown away with the beautiful pieces in the gallery. I would love to see more work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree! I think it would be wonderful if everyone from our newest to our longest not oldest but longest member posts a picture. You can switch them out if you change your mind.

Wow, the gallery is filling up with beautiful pieces already. I can't decide what to upload for mine. Do I go for the one that I feel is the best, or the one that I love the most? Decisions...

Love all the beautiful projects in the gallery. I will be waiting until further along in the year to add mine. Over the years I have had way more starts than finishes. Who knows what I will finish this year that could be my best so far.

This is a good reminder to members, new and old, to post a picture on the Anniversary Gallery! And if you haven't looked at it yet, take a peek. There are some really lovely pieces there.
