Question on using Pic2Pat

Hello stitchers! I am new to your site, did a bit of googling and it brought me here. I have a question for anyone interested in helping me out ... I am working on a couple of big projects via using Pic2Pat.com. I have read over (a bit, not every post) about copyright issues, and am curious if that is including unprotected images found via google images online. I just am not wanting to be in trouble if it is true, although, I suppose every picture technically is owned by someone at somepoint in it's life. For example, once I get the fabric, I will be stitching a colorful fairy painting I found, and am currently working on a colorful kitten ... any suggestions or bits of information I should be looking for?
