Sorry, also forgot to say that I never mark on my original pattern. I always make a copy for myself of course and mark off with either a pencil or a highlighter which areas I have stitched. This helps me with keeping up where I have stopped without have to make a big deal out of it.

My first post on this forum, and this seemed fun to post on.

Hmm confessions, I often start new cross stitches before I finish one and usually have 3/5 on the go.

I use the smallest needle I can get so I can use as much of the thread as possible.

I am not too fussy about the back of my cross stitch as long as the front looks good.

I love to make up my own charts on my PC with pictures I like to see how good I can make the patterns, more detail the better.

I love doing cross stitches of wolves, so much my wife calls me Wolfie.

Nice to meet you all, best Regards.

My biggest confession is that sometimes I stay up till 2 or 3 am stitching!

- I don't really care about the back either... it seems not many people do! As long as it's not knotty I don't care
- I don't ALWAYS but the right colours in the right places... especially not on big pieces. if I stitch one too many or miss a colour I don't take it back, I just cover it up lol
- I have A LOT of kits and patterns that I want to do, but I almost always never get to them!
- I always say I'll work on one piece at a time... but I usually have two or three on the go!
