I totally agree! It was only Donna that made David Tennant acceptable to me after Eccleston went. She was brilliant - so wonderfully common and down-to-earth! Loved her to bits!

But Billie Piper's Rose was admirable. Good little actress.

After Nine (Christopher Eccleston) I stopped watching for a bit, then didn't like Martha at all. But Donna. I loved Donna. I wept at what they did to her.

Liking Eleven (Matt Smith) lots as well.

Five (Peter Davison) was MY doctor, but I remember Four (Tom Baker) as well and remember being devastated when he regenerated.

Is this going to be a group SAL? I can see myself joining...

Loved Peter Davidson as the doctor until David Tennant came along :D
wasn't a huge Catherine Tate fan so didn't know if I'd like her as Donna but she was brilliant, miss her more than Rose :)

I loved Donna. The Tate and Tennant combination just worked. It sucks what they did to Donna. They could of had so much more fun with her.

This is wonderful, so looking forward to all the stitching pics.
As I am in my 50's I remember the first Dr,William Hartnell and Blue Peters Peter Purves as Steve!! one of his companions. I was about 5 when I saw my first Dr Who..I loved it, no hiding behind the sofa for me. I loved Tom Baker's Dr when I was teenager and I liked Peter Davidson a lot..I have a photo of him outside the T.A.R.D.I.S that he signed for me  when we saw him in Manchester afew years ago. Went off it with Sylvester McCoy and loved Christopher Eccleston and Billie Piper.

Hello Skitzzzzz! I just found this thread and was wondering if your offer of sending the chart still stands? It combines the best of both worlds as far as I'm concerned. :D

Thanks!

Hi Skitzzzzz,

Just sent you a pm - so pleased to have two of my favourite things in one chart! Hubby and I saw Masterpieces from Paris exhibition here in Australia last year and Starry Night was our favourite painting. I'm a big Dr Who fan from hiding behind the couch age. So WOW good on you for so kind to share.

Cheers, Felicity

What an awesome piece of art! I just stumbled across this thread while searching for TARDIS cross stitch ideas---I'm working on a Dalek propaganda poster at the moment and wanted to have something TARDISy to go along with it :)

I'm going to send you a PM, Skitzzzzz!

Hey, I just found this cross stitch group and your post for this Dr who chart! I have been dying to do a Dr who chart and Van Gogh is absolute favourite painter, so this would be perfect! Am I too late to get a copy of this chart please?

I am seconding this one. Just came across it and would LOVE to make it for a friend of mine who got me into Doctor Who in the first place!

Pm sent! I HAVE to stitch this for my friend who is the most gigantic Dr Who fan I've ever met!

Her walls are lined not with Dr. Who posters but figure's in their packaging!! She'd be so stoked if I surprised her with this!

Hi Skitzzzzz

I was looking in the SAL section for inspiration for my next 'Big Stitch' - when I saw Carole's thread on her Starry Night with Tardis piece and immediately wanted to stitch it myself. I googled to find where I could get my hands on the chart and was directed to this thread. If this chart is still available I would very much like to receive a copy (though feel cheeky asking this as I have only been an 'active member' for under a week!) - I will PM you just in case it is :)

Hello!

I am quite new to cross stitching (very new, actually...) and my love of Doctor Who lead me to this very thread (pardon the pun)!

I would love to have a go at the pattern... would it be possible to get a copy?

Thank you!
