Stitching for charity?

Post by StitchingAgain »

I was wondering if any of you ladies (and gents) have ever stitched for charity?

I haven't but, I'm planning on doing it. So far I've checked out a few websites that deals with this subject, and the best one for me so far is Quilt 4 kids .

Does anyone have any experience? Any suggestions? Thank you!

Hello Stitching Again

I have recently joined friendstoseniors as advrtised in the Cross Stitcher magazine they stitch, quilt and knit squares to make into blankets etc. for senior citizens.

They are great bunch of people give their website a look www.friends2seniors.com

I find that it makes you feel really good to think that you might be helping someone by doing what you love best.

Good Luck

Thank you! I have previously checked them out, and I think it's fantastic what they do. My only problem with the site was that I had to e-mail to get details where to send something. I lack pretty much any acceptable social skills, and I hate sending e-mails - lol!
