Back home!

Post by rcperryls »

My niece's wedding is this weekend. My sister has been here this week so we've already had lots of running around to do but it will get real crazy starting tomorrow when more and then more family starts arriving. Good crazy but will be busy and exhausting I'm sure. Lots of family things planned. Fortunately, and I hate to type this because it will probably curse it, the weather is supposed to stay beautiful, which is good since it is an outdoor wedding. So though I'll have my iPad and am most likely to sneak a peak at y'all in the quieter moments, I'll be back Monday. See you then.

What you really need is for the bride to eat a bacon sandwich with lots of tomato ketchup in it just before the wedding - like Tracy did. For what appears to be the only time in her life, the ketchup didn't drip, but it was a scare for everyone else.

Anyway, have a fun time.

Regards,

Richard

Thank you everyone. If a wedding can have everything go perfectly this one did. Most important is that it was an outdoor wedding (the local art museum has a beautiful garden and my niece has her masters in museum something or other and works in a children's museum so it was perfect, and the museum is available for the guests to wonder through which was perfect for the time between the ceremony and the reception since the caterers needed to transform it from a ceremony set up to dinner. For Charleston it is always iffy as to how the weather will be, but the temperature was perfect, no bugs and low humidity and no rain!!! It was all very hectic but fun with lots of laughs and dancing.

I hope that you all behaved well (I saw Wendy's reply when Serinde told y'all that she was going to be gone this week too and we left Karen to hold down the fort, since it usually takes 3 mods to keep y'all under some control  ). But I'm glad to be back. Feels like a long time even though its only been a few days.

Glad you had a good time.
It's always disappointing when these things go off without a hitch. I love to sit & snigger in a corner at someone else's misfortune...

Regards,

Richard.

So good to hear that you are back home and everything went well. Keep dancing Carole, every step helps with the extra weight. :)

I think on the whole we were pretty good whilst you were away.
