Can anyone help starting mew crossstitch you have got half a triangle in one row in two colours and the other on the stitch below both in two colours hope you can uderstand this because heck I cannot

My best guess is that the chart uses different colors to let you know which color thread to use And that a square which has two different colors is indicating that you do either a quarter stitch or a 3/4 stitch (depending on whether you will need to do any backstitching through that square. How you do these stitches will vary depending on the type of fabric you are using.
