Vintage Clarks Anchor /DMC Conversion Chart

Post by DaisystitchDebs »

I,m doing a Vintage 1930's Embroidery , the thread list is for Clarks Anchor cotton embroidery skeins , but the numbers are all F numbers eg Prawn F804 or Pale Grass Green F496 .
Now I think what I need , is a conversion chart that does Vintage Clarks Anchor to Clarks Anchor new numbers ......and then I will need Clarks Anchor conversion chart to DMC .
I know that vintage embroidery is quite popular at the moment , so I do hope that this will prove useful to others . Many thanks in advance .

I'm guessing the F means floss. I've found this website which has different conversion charts but I'm not 100% sure which yours is.
