Hi Everyone!
I live in China and purchased a kit a few weeks ago only to find that the pattern had been printed onto the fabric! I stumbled upon this website where a fellow member also had the same problem:

I couldn't find any solutions to the problem so I thought I would post up what I found was the best way to erase the ink from the fabric. It certainly is strange working with the colours already marked on the fabric- almost a little too easy for me!
I completed stitching the pattern. Once I finished I soaked the project in very warm water with a little bit of fabric softener mixed in. I left it for about 30 minutes and most of the ink had faded away! After a little delicate rubbing and moving the pattern around the ink completely disappeared. After the first cycle I soaked the pattern again, this time with just water.
It worked like a charm!! Here are some photos of my progress:
Here is what I mean by 'printed grid lines'! As you can see, they are very vivid. In this photo I have nearly completed the pattern-just a little more white to go.
Below is a picture of after it soaked for 30 minutes but before I have swished it around a little and rubbed the dye out.
The completed product:

Re: Erasing Printed Grid Lines Guide
Hello Maddy, welcome to the forum, from Oakville, Ontario.
I love rabbits! Congrats! On your completion; I honestly was surprised to see all the
grid lines disappear and the Chinese writing!
What is your next project?
Keep stitching and ENJOY!
Warm regards.
