Welcome

Post by Isobel R. »

Thank you for the add. I am some what new to this craft, in as much as |I have only done about 4 pieces in the last 20 years. I love cross stitch but injured my arm and had to stop for a number of years. I have read the rules and regulations and look forward to seeing if I can figure this out, I have never joined a forum before.

 Hello Isobel and welcome to the forum from a cold and getting much colder South Carolina! This is the first forum I ever joined also and the best one I have ever been in. Not only will you find friends from all over the world, you will get all the encouragement and motivation you could want. Ask any and as many questions as you need to about stitching or the forum or just about anything actually. Someone on the forum will either know the answer or have a very good idea as to where to go to find the answer. I hope you will post pictures of the projects that you are working on. We love pictures!

Looking forward to getting to know you!

Carole

 Hi Isobel and Welcome from a very warm Brisbane where it is currently 29.8c with humidity at 86% not good weather for anything really.
Anyway I am sure you will soon find you way around the site and if not just 'yell' in a post and someone will answer it. We cover most time frames so someone will answer fairly quickly. Here in the east coast of Australia (no daylight time) it is 8.20am. Sunday morning. :)

Looking forward to getting to know you and seeing pictures of your work in progress (WIP)

 Welcome from me in SW France.

You will love it here, I know. I have learnt so much, made wonderful Stitching Friends and remember...

...there is never a silly question! It's only a question to which you do not know the answer. Someone here surely will.

And a warm welcome from the West of Scotland! So glad you found us. :D Take your time and look around the forum to get familiar with it -- we have our own pub (the Stash & Grab) plus a clinic (St Cross Stitchers), and a treehouse out the back by the loch. I think the set up here is easier than many other forums (fora?), and I'm sure you'll get in the swing of it. We LOVE to see what you are working on, so don't forget to set up a thread for your projects with :camera: !
