Hello! I'm in my 50's and have been cross stitching off and on for 20+ years. Originally from Kentucky, I now reside in Florida. In addition to cross stitching, I also enjoy crochet, knitting, embroidery, needle tatting, scherenschnitte, paper quilling, quilting, painting, pyrography, photography, calligraphy, gardening, woodworking, paper making, candle making, basketry, sewing, and jewelry making. I would also like to learn spinning, weaving, bobbin lace making, ribbon embroidery, needle painting, stained glass, and how to work in ceramics and polymer clay. I love to read, color, journal, spend time in Nature, collect rocks, minerals, fossils, and shells, watch movies, do jigsaw puzzles, play cards and board games, and spend time with my boyfriend and our four cats.

 Hello and welcome to the forum from South Carolina! I'm going to guess that you are never ever bored! Don't forget that we have an
All Other Crafts section where forum members post pictures of non-cross stitch projects they are working on. Ranges from wood working to other needlecrafts to spinning and weaving etc etc etc.

Looking forward to getting to know you.

Hello from Colorado and welcome to the forum. Boy oh boy, you are crafty! I hope you'll let us see some of your stitching, and your other crafts.

I'll be heading to Florida a week from today, just a quick visit with friends there.

 Hi and Welcome from me too in sunny Brisbane, its great that you have joined us. WOW you sure have done a lot of different crafts and have many more that you want to try.
I have done bobbin lace in the past but always come back to needle and thread. I recently passed on all my bobbins etc to the Lace society here to make use of as they see fit.

Hello and welcome from the south west UK

Wow you certainly are busy with all your hobbies :)

I've had a go at some on your list, I have done two courses, bead and wire jewellery making and flower arranging, a day course on stained glass where I made a mirror, I can knit but I'm not very good at crochet, and of course cross stitch and that's me done!

I think its brilliant that you have a go with just about everything. :)

Hello Artemisia and welcome to the forum from Germany!
Wow, that's a lot of hobbies and all sound great! I can relate to it, it is so exciting to try out something new. But as I have only one room, I try to limit myself to only cross stitching and crocheting.
