Hi Cross-stitchers. This forum is really well looked after.
To begin with, I am grateful to the Admins whose guidelines do make life easier.
About me: 65 (can't believe), retired, never idle, always with some cross-stitch WIP around. Can't wait to see all your works.
Respectfully, Lyudmila

Hello Lyudmila and welcome to the forum from South Carolina! Glad that you found us. I'm also retired, 68 (can't believe that either) and don't like being idle. I always am working on one of my several (maybe more than several) WIPs. What types of projects do you like to stitch?
Carole

Thank you for your kind words, Carole. Most of my projects were full-size tablecloths, mainly floral designs. But now I switched to pictures. Have just completed a baby sampler for my friends. Honestly speaking, I also have quite a few WIPs right now, one of which is the enormous picture from "Cross-stitch Collection" (what a pity the magazine will not be available any longer)- "Venice"- have stitched more than a half. What do you stitch?

Thank you all for friendlyness and care.
As I am from the last century(when my granddaughter was little, she could not believe I was "from the last century"), it will take me a lot of time to learn how to add pictures to my posts. So, just in case someone is interested, - my works are in the gallery already. Not all, of course, as I have not been photographing for a couple of years.

This thread,
How to Post a Picture into a Thread explains how to do this. Hope it helps.

Hello from Colorado and welcome to the forum. I'm another retiree (although I do work part time) - you'd think being retired I'd get more stitching done.

Thank you, Sally. I was lucky to visit Queensland/Brisbane/Bundaberg nearly 20 years ago for 2 months. It was an absolultely fantastic experience. The nature- from the Sun which is in the North, to the enormous gum and stranglerfigs, the creeks, kangaroos, melaluka's bark like files of paper, signs, "No swimming- Stone fish", Lady Musgrave Island's wonders, and especially all the beautiful birds- one has to see to believe, right? So now all the Australian cross -stitchers associate to me with that spacious beautiful land. Get well soon, please.

I love your Gallery line up. What a lot of different types of designs you have stitched. My favourite is the Guelder Rose and the lovely birth announcement. Well Done Lyudmila - it is a credit to you.
