On this forum there is the designer skitzzzzz (look here http://www.crossstitchforum.com/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=2573
There is also an alternative you could consider, as I did when I found there were no pictures exactly like I wanted to stitch. That is to find/create the image you want to stitch and edit/crop it to look exactly like the image you want. Then use some conversion software to get the stitch colours, or use a company like Golden Kite ( http://www.goldenkite.com/index.php/custom-made-patterns
) to do a custom pattern for you, for a [high] price.
It you take the software route, software can be free or paid for. I started off with the freebie 'Ryijy Stitch Designer' ( http://en.freedownloadmanager.org/Windows-PC/Ryijy-Stitch-Designer-FREE.html
). However Ryijy (and many of the commercial programs like PCStitch) leave colour contours visible. If you are picky about these things, then you need a program like 'Pattern Maker' or my freebie 'BlendThreads' to avoid contours (download from my signature). Only my program treats blended threads as if they are just another thread colour, making blended colours an absolute doddle. Doing it yourself means you can get exactly
what you want. Just remember, with conversion software, quality of result does not necessarily come with a higher price tag.
Food for thought maybe?
