from Russia with Love

Post by Vivienne »

Hi there, my name is Svetlana and I live in Moscow.
I'm crazy for cross stitch for several years and cannot live without it.
I'm registered on some cross stitch forums in Russia, but now decided to explore smth new abroad, so, would be happy to find some new interesting cross stitch ideas!

At the same time will try to practice my Eng, so, sorry in advance for mistakes if any

Hello Svetlana and welcome to the forum from South Carolina! You have found the right place for meeting others who are crazy for cross stitch. And your English sounds very good to me. If I could speak another language as well as you speak English, I would be delighted. I hope that you will post pictures of your work. We love pictures! What type of projects do you like to stitch?

Hello from Colorado and welcome to the forum. I've always wanted to go to Russia; I studied Russian (well, Soviet actually, because it was quite a while ago) history in college and just became quite enamored with the country, the history, the architecture - and matryoshka dolls. (I have several sets of dolls, but only collect ones made in Russian, with exception of one or two that I think were made in Poland.)

I hope you'll share your work with us - pictures are so much fun. And by the way, your English is great!

Guys, thank you very much for a worm welcome!
I stitch a lot of projects - Mirabilia designs, Dimensions, European and Russian kits and charts.

I'm ready to share some of my finished and WIP projects, but please tell me where should I do it - in the current chart or open another one in Stitch-a- Long topic?

Most of us use the Stitch-A-Long section to post pictures of our projects. This thread on How to post pictures explains how. Some members (me included) like to have separate threads for each project to show our progress; others have one thread which they use for all of their projects. And still others do a mix. And if you don't like what you decide to do you can change it. Whichever you decide on I am looking forward to seeing your work!
