New here!
Hi there, fellow stitchers!
I'm an artist (various mediums, but I do a lot of pen and ink and watercolor when I have the space and time to set up and really work-- not so much right now as I'm in the middle of a move, and all my craft time is devoted to stitching myself sane), I've got a variety of geeky interests and hobbies, and I have a beautiful lynx point birman mix kitty named Mohinder (Momo for short) who is usually very well behaved when it comes to keeping his paws off my thread.
I've just started charting my own patterns (well, I've just done one that I'm in the process of stitching, and I've jotted down plans for the next few), as if I didn't have a long enough list of pre-existing projects to do.
I can't really think of anything else to say about myself, but if I left out something important, just ask, I guess!

Re: New here!
Hi, there. I am very new here, too.
Sounds like you are having a hectic time right now. I know what you mean by stitching yourself sane. I would be unbearable to live with without my needles.

Hello and welcome to the forum from South Carolina! Looking forward to seeing the designs that you create as well as any others that you stitch! I agree that he time spent stitching can be critical to maintaining sanity. Though some of my family and friends might not agree when they see the number of WIPs I have, designs to stitch and stash carts all over the house .

Hi and Welcome from me too from sunny but very cool Brisbane - it's great that you have joined us. I like your comment "stitching myself sane" - many of us do that I am sure.
