Ah hah! hey there secret santa! :) Thanks for the ornaments :) I do like them very much, and my roommate who does all sorts of stained glass and dichoric glass crafts has been coveting the stained glass one. I'm going to have to watch out after the holidays to make sure that it doesn't 'accidently' end up put away with her ornaments instead of with mine.

And those Santas were beyond adorable. We got a good chuckle over how 'iddy biddy' they really were!

Oh good, glad it arrived and that you like it! It was a project full of "firsts" for me: first ornament on perforated paper, first time beading, first time using candle flame stitch (also known as lazy daisy stitch I believe), first time attaching a charm...

I haven't gotten mine yet, that's okay! It's only December 4th.

I saw LastingAllure did receive mine, yay! Can't wait to see what you think! I, like everyone else, had finishing woes too. :D

I haven't received one yet, either, but I'm more concerned that the one I sent was delivered two weeks ago tomorrow but I haven't seen anything here that the intended recipient has it. :-(

Hmmmmm maybe you should PM them? Maybe they forgot to log on and say they got it? Maybe it wasn't actually delivered?!?! :(

I confirmed with my recipient that she did not receive her ornament and I'm so sad and disappointed. Tracking shows it delivered back on the 21st of November and she never got it. I will be starting a replacement, but it sure takes the fun out of it for her. :-(

And to make me feel even worse (or better), I received my beautiful ornament in the mail today from katiespark. Thank you...I love it. She also included a second little package with a note not to open it until Christmas....is it Christmas yet? I'll be good, I promise. :-)

And here is Jackson conducting an inspection of the ornament...he was very gentle and it is now out of his reach (I hope):

Cute ornament you got Debby. So sorry the post office stole the ornament you sent to your person. They must've seen it and fell in love with it!

Yay!!! So glad the ornament arrived and that you and your kitty approve. :) Lots of firsts for me, much like Shadyglade. First time on perforated paper, first time beading... So glad I joined the exchange and got the chance to try new things! Debby (fccs) was kind enough to snap a close up picture of the ornament for me. Hope she won't mind if I share it here...

I am just loving seeing all the gorgeous ornaments people are making. They look beautiful! :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce:

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I just contacted the member who is expecting an ornament from her and I will pop an ornament in the mail for her on Monday so she has an ornament for participating.

Next year we are going to have to make some guidelines for participating. Such as has been an active member for at least 6 months and has a valid e-mail address for contacting offline.

I am going to message you Cairee, this isn't fair to you either!

I got a stunning ornament in the mail today!!! Thanks a million to Jas (needleandfork)! It's gorgeous and already on my tree!

Check out the amazing finishing - all those beads!

And a picture won't do this justice, but the feel of the linen is just wonderful. Very smooth and silky. I absolutely love it.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Beautiful ornament!

The "mystery" surrounding what happened to the one I made and sent has been partially solved. We know what happened but where the package is remains unknown...maybe it will eventually end up back here and I can resend it. But I'm not waiting for that to happen; I'm working on a replacement for my very understanding recipient...hopefully I can get it to her before Christmas.
