Oh, girls, thank you all for your good wishes, but unfortunately they didn't really work :-)
I am feeling rotten tonight. But I started taking the antibiotics this morning, so I still hope it won't be too long. I stayed at home today, since my class are already taking their exams, I have no lessons on Thursday and Friday, so I took these two days off. I did some translation, and feel lucky that I was able to do that.

But I don't want to complain too much - this is nothing serious, nothing compared to what some of us here must suffer.

I hope everyone is getting better, I will, promise.

Oh Jilly,
Here it finally is.......but there is a surprise that you'll have to wait on until you get it!

I'm going to try to get it out tomorrow but since I've got my interview it may not be until the Saturday mail.

I have received my beautiful bird from Jilly, thank you!

Now I have to find a good way to store my cards (2 of them are a LOT, aren't they). So far they were atanding on my shelf, but it isn't a good way to keep them, they become dusty.
But it is so good to see them all the time. If I make a box, I won't see them... :thinks:

i purchased a small photo album..
like this one:
http://creativehawaiian.com/images/Tong ... mSMALL.jpg

different outside..
but when you open it..there is just enough room for one on the left..and one on the right!
what I did was copy the info on the sender onto a piece of cardstock and put that in the left page..and the atc went on the right

Great I dea CF. I was thinking a similar Idea or even buying the pages they make for Baseball card collecting they are plastic and clear on both sides so you can see the back . I have to see if the cost is worth it, not sure how expensive they are.

I actually found a temporary solution.
I have saved a plastic box that had chocolate in it (but :choc: somehow magically disappeared :thinks: ), and that has a clear top. So I put both cards in it, and it stands on my shelf - they can be seen, but not get dusty.
Like a small display case in a museum!

Hi Mabel,
Your lovely stitching arrived today in the mail! It's wonderful and is now sitting in the family room with Jilly's piece. Your stitching is lovely. What kind of fabric is that?
