Wow, Lottie! You got quite a lot of stash! So much of it is so lovely, too. And Niki, those threads are so lovely and what a great book to get. Looking forward to seeing some of your hardanger.

No pictures from me (darn camera) but I received a lovely piece of evenweave (the giftwrap) with sparkling green ribbon, the cutest snowman card, 2 bat glass treasures, a Mill Hill buttons and beads kit (Night owl) and a pack of needles :D I can't wait to start on the owl and I am thrilled to pieces with the gift (and the candy cane envelope, wish the had them here lol)

Wow, I love looking at everyone's haul! (Jo, your little frog from Diana is SO precious!)

Tiff, I'm so glad you love everything. You mentioned somewhere about your husband usually finding your misplaced needles with his feet, so I thought another pincushion may help out!

Here's my package from caitief:
Image

Some gorgeous 28 ct linen in babbling brook, and 32 ct (jobelan, I think?) in pink (bittersweet lt). Some very common DMC floss colors (always terrific!), and some festive colors from Loops & Threads. I've never used this brand, but the skeins feel very soft. And some glow-in-the-dark Kreinik! (Of course the first thing I did was switch off the light to check it out)

She also included a tantalizing note that there is a pattern to be emailed to me, and a hint that it may be Dr. Who related. The gifts just keep coming!

ETA: Here's my pattern! I'm so excited! The designer is here.

I am so glad you like everything! I tend to use the Loops & Threads for book marks and other small projects where I pick out my own colors and don't follow DMC. I hope you can find a use for them!

I can't wait for you to get your chart. It is really awesome :-)

Stashmas is the best. To those who organize it - you ROCK! :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce:

Liz I'm so glad you are at last able to open your pressie which has been there for so long and delighted you like my choices. Those little bags are quite quick and easy to make and useful for keeping small projects together, especially if you are travelling.

:applesauce: :applesauce: What a wonderful feast for the eyes and senses all these lovely goodies are that we have all received.

Well Done everyone.

Yay, caitief! I'm so glad you liked everything. And I must say, I discovered those gold needles while shopping for your presents and I bought some for myself and LOVED them. Your wish list converted me

ETA: I can't find my camera, but I got some lovely 14 count aida, some black and white perle thread, BEAUTIFUL stork-handled scissors, needles, and a big piece of 28 count fabric that I'm super excited to try! I haven't had great success with 28 count, but I'm going to try tent stitch on this one and see how it goes!

What an amazing day. I got home from my Stitching Group around 8:30 this evening. I'd left before the mail got here so was SO SURPRISED  that Stitchinkitty aka Marilyn (or is it Marilyn aka Stitchinkitty?) had sent me a Stashmas Day Gift. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. That was an extra kind thing to do and I truly appreciate it. It was more than filled up with items I had put in my wishlist.
A beautifully wrapped package:
Image
filled with:
Image
There are all kinds of gorgeous threads (which I think will be wonderful for Mabel's SAL) including Dinky Dyes hand dyed silks,Cascade House stranded silks, several skeins of hand dyed cotten, the pre gridded fabric the threads are resting on, Australian hand dyed Ligana 28ct opal., a blackwork learner's design from Victoria Sampler and maybe best of all a lovely card with 2 Rainbow Lorikeets which are gorgeous Australian birds.
I cannot describe how delighted I am.

Carole

Now the only waiting I have is to find out what Serinde thinks of her gift.
