Scissors!

by Mabel Figworthy » Tue Sep 29, 2015 3:58 pm

Most of you will know that I am besotted with my squissors but I do use other tools as well! Like these very sharp and pointy pairs of 4" embroidery scissors for cutting closely along hems and so on:

And seeing that buying more pairs saved on postage, I decided to buy more than I needed and put them on Mabel's Fancies :-)

I used to collect scissors especially Ginghers, but stopped a few years ago because I prefer the floral type.

I use my pair of beauty scissors which I used for cutting false eyelashes. They are extremely sharp and tiny and good for snipping the tiny thread ends close to the fabric.
