Creating a Cross Stitch Pattern

Post by Frespanglish »

Hello! One of my good friends is a First World War buff. I would like to cross stitch an image of the monument at the Canadian Vimy Ridge Memorial (http://www.bloggingcanadians.ca/NonPart ... -underway/" target="_blank or http://www.veterans.gc.ca/eng/Memorials/france/vimy" target="_blank). I cannot find a cross stitch pattern of the Vimy Memorial. Do you know how I can create a pattern or where I can go to get a pattern created?

You can download software (eg. PC stitch) that can turn photos into designs or alternatively get someone to design a piece if you dont think you could. There are loads of different designers dotted over the internet that would be willing to (for a small fee ofcourse) to do this for you. A basic search on google might come up with some people or if you check out etsy there are a lot of people there who sell designs who are willing to do custom work :)

Or you could ask our wonderful skitzzzzz who has converted pictures to beautiful charts for several members...
