Skitzzzz can I ask a question about this……I've never used one of these programs so don't know the details on what they can do etc. But was wondering about the colours, does the program work out the colours required for you too?

yes the program works out the colours - i choose a palette say DMC and it matches to those - depending on the picture it can say use from 1 to 219 colours plus i can alter the palettes
i tweak the picture also
change the size etc etc
i have to put all the info in for the program to work send me a pm with your email address and ill send you the stary night tardis chart i did so you can see what i can do

I would be interested in your services. I have seen programs that say they can do this and they end up being a blurry version of the original. Are the patterns you create as crisp as the pictures? I am wanting to do an old Cure album cover for my husband, but need to make sure that it will be what I want before paying for it. Thanks and I look forward to working with you!

well cecil i always let the customer see what the 'picture would look like stitched and everything is as wanted
so no money and charts change hands till everyone is happy
even after working on it if you still dont like it then you dont buy it 'simples' lol
take a look on the forum i have done a few charts

well i usually send an invoice through PayPal - for £3.50 as this way its easier to pay plus you do not need a PayPal account this way
roughly £3.50 to us dollars is about 5 dollars give or take the exchange rate

but to blow my own trumpet everyone u have made these for are happy as i always try and create something that 'would i stitch that' the answer has to be yes

I have been thinking of getting another chart made (if you don't mind, I know you charge now and that's fine) of my grandparents who have both passed away. It is an old photo that I scanned onto my computer so I am hoping it will be clear enough.

I would love chart made from a photo..but I live in the US and can't print anything emailed to me..would you be able to print and mail via post? if so, I can email you a photo and inquire about price.

Just found this thread. Skitzzzzz, the SALs I've seen of people stitching things you've charted for them are absolutely awesome! I've seen some custom charts that have turned out terrible so I've been a little wary of charting my own. Once I get hubbys butt kicked enough for him to get me a printer I may have to ask you to chart me something £3.50 is cheap for this sort of quality imo. My hubby didn't believe the Aerosmith one was a cross stitch until I showed him earlier pictures of it!

I am very new to the forum, however your name came up on my 1st query, I hear your the person to go to for custom made charts. I have three dogs, all different breeds, and would love to combine my love of cross stitch and my pets. Firstly, what is the best angle to take the photo's from so that you get the best shape and distinction? I was thinking side onto the face, but would really value your opinion. My partner is soon leaving for the army and I need a couple of projects to keep me busy, doing projects of our 'boys' would be a great suprise for him to come home too in a few months time.
