Links to Internet Sites

Post by Rose »

I am starting this thread so that we can accumulate all the different internet sites we have shared with each other into one thread. I have just spent the last 20 minute looking for a site that some one had given in one of my first questions. I thought if we had one thread to put a whole bunch of the sites in one general place it would help us when we go back to look something up.

Please post here as well as on the site that asks the question so that it will fill up here. Give us your idea sites as well as those new unique ones that we all find so fun.

Thanks ladies I hope this idea takes off and will help us all.

http://www.cross-stitch-directory.com/ - this site has a list of other sites

http://freebiegallery.blogspot.com/sear ... 27s%20Bush -
this is meant to be a gallery, sometimes links are provided to get the charts.
this quote was taken directly from the link

http://mariarte.net/MariArte/free_today_new.shtml - you have to sign up as a member but supposedly you get a new freebie everyday.

http://www.free-cross-stitch-pattern.com/index.php - the name says it all freebies

http://www.dmc-usa.com/majic/pageServer ... signs.html -on the DMC site and they have a whole bunch of new
freebies, here is a quick link to the freebies

http://www.artecy.com/index.html -You can get CD's with loads of patterns or a lot of these are able to be order and sent to you on line only $1.95 per pattern USD. They have some great patterns

http://www.e-patternscentral.com/cross- ... ?cat_id=36 -This site was sent to me because I order from them and I have there crochet book. So I am on their mailing list. I thought you might like this as it does have some cross patterns.

http://chatelaine-design.de/newweb/index.html -patterns, threads, and a message board. Mostly the message board is to promote the designer but it does have some interesting stuff. Some of the free patterns it advertises are only available to certain members. It is a bit frustrating when you see something you like and then they say oh it was free but only to a select few.

http://www2.uol.com.br/agulhadeouro/mot ... o_cruz.htm
found and brought to us by ernie2jess. She tells us lots of freebies.

http://www.abc-free-cross-stitch-patterns.com/" target="_blank -this one they ask you to register. But they also say if you want to order from us first take one our freebies so you know what to expect from us. I think that is a good marketing idea.

http://www.charlescraft.com/freedesigns.html" target="_blank - this is there section for free patterns.

http://www.leisureartslibrary.com/" target="_blank -Have you seen that Leasure Arts have an online store now?????

http://www.crossstitchpro.com/" target="_blank - free patterens newletter and other information

http://www.circulo.com.br/secoes/receit ... spx?id=130" target="_blank very cute christmas card designs

I just discovered a site on which it is very easy to download embroidery patterns. Its at

Http://club-point-de-croix.com/?code_avantage=degihn" target="_blank.

There are tons of charts. Its in French but its easy to do if you know how to translate the site.

Sites I like to look at

Post by CEJHNeedlework »

I apologize if in and of the sites I list have already been mentioned.

http://www.sewandso.co.uk/

I found this website when I was hunting for "Classic Winnie the Pooh" designs. They don't seem to have them anymore but they carry a large selection of Disney's Pooh as well as Beatrix Potter Design and other well known kits.

http://www.gryphonsmoon.com/Cross-stitch+Patterns.page

Here there be Dragons! This website started as a Celtic Clothing and Jewelry site but recently added cross stitching patterns with fairies, dragons, Wicca & Celtic symbols etc. My favorite peace is a pattern of legendary creatures in an ark with Nessy in the water and a Phoenix in the sky and the words "Not Forgotten" beneath.

http://www.herrschners.com

Great place to find supplies in general.

http://www.createforless.com/

Great place to buy LARGE QUANTITIES at good prices. It is like a Costco for crafting. There are some items you can buy in singles but floss is purchased by the box in each shade.

Here's a site I found last night and have spent hours now just window shopping in. It has a huge number of cross stitch kits and I've bookmarked it for inspiration.

http://www.colray-crafts.com/index.php4

On the DMC site, http://www.dmc.com" target="_blank, if you join the DMC Club (it's free) you get access to lots of lovely freebies.

Just found a lovely little blog with a freebies advent calendar - today's christmas freebies are quite lovely and well worth a look. The site is A needle and some thread.

oh and they use gentle art thread so if you want to use DMC (like me) i searched for a conversion site

http://www.cameoroze.com/101/too_convert.htm" target="_blank

converts just about any brand into another..lol

Click the yellow rectangle with the red(ish) lettering below each picture. It says "Telechargement gratuit". Then you will enter the name and password (from the sign up sheet below).

But to register first: http://club-point-de-croix.com/inscription" target="_blank
*the first section to fill in is for the name (I always use patternnuts)
*second section is for the password
*then password again (confirmation)
*then email

*then check (tick) the very last two boxes
*then the button at the bottom that says "Valider mon inscription".

43 pages of beautiful freebies. YES they are ALL free! great quality too!!
