I am absolutely amazed how quickly you have stitched the circles and the first character!
This is a special project and have so many different details and subjects that we will have a great time seeing grow too!

I was also born by the sea and miss it a lot. I used to go to sleep with the high wind "singing" around the house, as our house formed a corner of two streets. The air felt so good. Full of iodine, I was told. I can imagine how Richard's house was like. The sea salt is really bad for the g...

I wonder what is absolutely essential for you when you stitch?

My main focus is to form my stitches as well as I can, railroading sometimes to get my stitches to lie flat.
I am quite fussy about the needles I use too.

I do not think that I have seen beading on material before, Roland., except of course for the occasional bead on a design ( for the center of a flower for example)
