Well done Slinky, will look out for it in a couple of months when we will get 218. Will make a note for myself on the calendar to look for it.

A very impressive haul Kerry, I see you like cats - you can have mine if you like. She is presently curled up asleep in my stitching chair and if I am silly enough to move her I will get bitten for sure. Oh well guess I can move another chair close by the window and still see what I am doing. I went...

Re: Hi from Italy ^^
Hi Elisabetta, I will have a look in my book stash and see if I have kept any of the Calendar Cats. I used to keep a lot of Margaret Sherry's charts out of the Cross Stitcher(TCS) mag. Is it the actual calendar with cat pics on them or is there a separate chart with all of them on? I bought several ...

All I got on Friday was a bill, no mail here in Aus on Saturdays,
which is hard to get used to - NZ has Saturday delivery which is so useful when one is running late with a birthday greeting.
Hope you enjoy your new Ott Light Linda, I believe they are really great to use.

Welcome Sal from another Sally. Gosh you have given yourself some big stitching projects. I did look at getting Henry and his wives once but decided against it, mostly due to cost at the time and haven't seen it since. IS it easy to do?

I echo what others have said about adopting a child or planning other than conception. A neighbour adopted a little girl and was pregnant within a short time afterwards, so hang in there.

Re: Magazine subscription
Hi Mel, I don't have a subscription to The Cross Stitcher mag although it used to buy it and looked at getting a subs at one time. They used to have the cost of an overseas subs listed in a page in the mag where you can renew etc. If not go to their web site and it will tell you. To get the Aussie a...

Welcome from downunder Mrs T. The reversable stitching sounds interesting but I do need to clear some of my backlog before I head into uncharted waters with something new.
What part of Texas are you from. I have friends near Dallas.

Re: Hello!
Hi and Welcome from another newbie.
I love that you have been doing stitching since a little girl and have kept it up. Tatty Teddy is great isn't he. I've done two or three of his ones out of TCS magazine and enjoyed them. Good luck with yours.

An ex Kiwi in Aussie
Hi All, I have just recently joined this lovely forum after lurking around it for a while and am loving it. I thought it was about time I introduced myself. I am in my mid 70's, and moved to Australia almost 4 years ago to be closer to at least 1 member of my family. All my 5 'children' and 9 of my ...

Re: How many project's do you have on the go?????
I have 1 large project on the go, plus a small SAL and hope to get some Christmas cards done. I also have a lap quilt to finish hand quilting before the end of the week - a birthday present for my DIL. My grandmother taught me fancy work (embroidery) over 60 years ago and her maximum was "finis...
