Re: Mabel's designs

Beautiful designs as ever Mabel, I love how you don't restrict yourself to one type of stitching and on that note i'm really looking forward to joining the next SAL to learn a bit more diversity myself. :) Can I ask about the trivets I did go on sew and so as they might be just what I am after and t...

Re: Craft Fair Wry Amusement I'd like to share

Maybe if you were to do a selection of works yourself ranging from fairly simple through a bit tougher to pretty tricky right up to the honeymoon picture, then people would be able to visualise the fact that you can start simple and work up to it, also some people might feel they can't cope with so ...

Re: Snag in fabric

Richard is there any white fabric showing on the back of your piece as if there is i would suggest a tiny test with a marker pen there to see if it looks obviously coloured in, if it seems ok once dry i would wash and press the stitching (you did say you finished it i think) then use a marker pen on...

I just sit in awe of your wonderful work, i have no idea how you do it so fast, so beautifully, and if i recall in hand too.
It is coming along wonderfully and unlike my big one i think i may live long enough to see it completed @rotfl:

Re: Kit Discrepancies? Kinkaid Disney Dreams Bambi

I would not be happy with that but as long as you have more than enough unworked area to allow for framing/finishing it wont really matter, however if its going to leave a tiny margin at the edges i would be inclined to get in touch with the manufacturers and ask them to change it.

Re: a different type of conversion required

Re: Cross Stitch Screw Up. Help!

Hi, it looks to me as though you stitched the bigger part of the bird from side to side and then for the top part of the wing you went up and down on the fabric, i had the exact same thing happen on something i did a long while ago and although no one else seems to see it i still feel it jumps out a...
