I wish I had your self control. I can easily not open a wrapped present, but knowing all the beauty is inside would be difficult to not want to keep looking at it.

They look beautiful. I did one of the fairies on an afghan (gave to my granddaughter) and if I remember correctly, the colors are pretty close to accurate in the photo. I think what might be harder to appreciate is the subtle changes that the mixed threads bring to the piece.
