Maybe I should go back to flimsy paper ones...

So I use the bobbin storage system. Initially I used the card bobbins, but they fall to bits with use. So I switched to the plastic bobbins and used the pre printed number stickers... They fell off, so I used a marker and that rubs off. I have so many random un numbered bobbins now. Any tips for kee...

haha that's very true. I can barely tell them apart, and the stitches are so small I can't see when I've missed one. It's going to be a real labour of love, but it makes sense that this should be a labour of love. After all, the show liked to torture the characters.

We’ve gone to Abakhan in Mostyn which is about an hour and half travel across two buses, so I mean… if we’re coming here we might as well make a day of it. The craft shop is across multiple buildings with a play area and a cafe… so I’m now set up in the cafe with my project looking out onto the play...

I know the linen undergarments would definitely have a visible grid for counting on, but from what I've seen in the examples of the book and surviving extant garments you can usually see the grid.
