Can anyone explain to me how to attach chenille trim around a pillow-type pincushion with a ladder stitch? That is all the directions tell me. I know what a ladder stitch is ... I just can't envision how to attach a chenille trim with this stitch. Any help will be greatly appreciated, as always : ) ...

If you have the JCS 2011 ornaments issue I am working the Christmas Cat Tree by Brittercup Designs, the pattern of which is on page 42. I remember from my knitting days that you aren't supposed to store wool in plastic bins. Is it okay to store linen fabrics in these bins? I really don't have another choice in the matter except maybe just tossing the fabrics into a cardboard box. Is it okay to protect these linen fabrics & keep ...

Is blocking necessary when you have finished stitching something on linen? I've not blocked anything before but am wondering, after a recent experience, if I should do so. Life has been rather upside down around here lately. My husband has not been feeling well for a while now & suddenly his symptoms started to get worse. I ended up taking him to the local ER 2 weeks ago after he blacked out. They admitted him & did tests although not one they should have done...
