Oh, dear. This is not a good thread for me to be on. I see all the lovely pictures of the goodies people have got, and I find myself saying:
"I want one of those, and one of those, and two of these. . . . . . . . "

Re: New and Improved Stash and Grab
That happened to me once in my nursing days. I ended up working a 24 hour shift. Not fun. ![Sad :(](./images/smilies/icon_sad.gif)

Re: Mabel's Hardanger
Is Hardanger as difficult to do as it looks? I must say I found it a lot easier than it looks :-). It's less than 1 year and 10 months since I stitched my very first piece of Hardanger, so it's quite quick to move on to larger and more complex pieces. The scary bit at first is the cutting, but once...

Re: New and Improved Stash and Grab
Okay, so I am a bit dense. Some of you may even wonder what planet I'm from. But I've passed by the door of The Stash and Grab many times, and I was scratching my head to what it actually was. :-? It's now dawned on me that it's a virtual pub! So, if it's okay, I've come in for a visit and a c...

It looks superb!
As for changing things to cover up mistakes, I challenge anyone who has never had to do that! Besides, it makes every work unique. Well done.

This is lovely.
My favorite time of year is the fall. My one and only quilt I made was all fall colours. I've yet to make it up into a wall hanging. (it's 4 years old

Re: Tiger by Paul James *update September.20th*
It's looking great!
I love tigers!
I found the original painting on Paul James' website. He's a multi - talented guy.
It looks like the tiger was the only painting of his that was developed as a cross stitch -- as far as I know, anyway.

Sorry to hear it happened though Rose.
I too am sorry, Rose, that had to happen to your son. Some people are beyond comprehension.

Eek!
I'm "baby sitting" my daughter's mischievous cat this weekend. I'll have to watch out. I'm used to an old doggy who pays zero attention to my cross stitch!
