Is Hardanger as difficult to do as it looks? I must say I found it a lot easier than it looks :-). My favorite time of year is the fall. My one and only quilt I made was all fall colours. I've yet to make it up into a wall hanging. (it's 4 years old )

I found the original painting on Paul James' website. He's a multi - talented guy.
It looks like the tiger was the only painting of his that was developed as a cross stitch -- as far as I know, anyway.
