Re: Just Cross Stitch website problem

Hi Squirrel. I figured out what the problem was with renewing when I got a renewal message sent to my inbox. I opened it up and the first thing it showed was to check off whether I wanted to renew for 3, 2, or 1 year. For some reason, the other messages weren't showing me that field. That's why the ...

Re: Beatrix potter birth chart

I have a book, "Storybook Favorites in Cross-Stitch" by Gillian Souter, that has a Beatrix Potter birth chart. It's available on Amazon, and you should be able to get it used for about $5. SFICS has a few Peter Rabbit designs, as well as Babar, Paddington, Winnie-the-Pooh, Madeline, etc.

Just Cross Stitch website problem

Hi. I was wondering if anyone else is having problems with renewing a subscription on the Just Cross Stitch website. A message pops up that it's time to renew my subscription, then the fields are filled in automatically. After I fill out the rest of my information and hit return, a message pops up t...

Re: Where's your stitching place?

I also stitch on the couch, cats beside me, with my coffee on the coffee table. If I happen to drop or lose a needle, someone else in the family tends to find it.

Re: OT: Super Bowl Sunday

My son lives in Seattle, Dahlia. He applied for a SDE job with Amazon in Vancouver and, in his first phone interview, was asked if he would consider Seattle. I knew right then if Amazon hired him, he would be going to Seattle. Mom was right. :)

Re: A question about dark fabrics ??

My son bought me a really nice Dimensions kit for my birthday and it is black aida. I'm finding it tough to work on. Got to do it slowly and with extra lighting behind the fabric!

Download problem

I bought a pattern online and downloaded it. It opened in Adobe Reader and there are 21 pages to print out. The pattern isn't THAT big--only 12"x18".

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Re: Need an alphabet pattern for a birth chart.

If you do go to the library, like Maggie suggested, 2001 Cross Stitch Designs is a book you might want to check out. I use it all the time for the alphabets. :)

Re: Pronunciation of Aida

I think the pronunciation of skein depends on where you live. In Germany, "ei" would be a long i sound, whereas in English the rule is "ei" has a long a sound except after c where it has a long e sound. neighbour weigh rein veil freight beige feign--all long a in English conceit,...

Re: It's so annoying when...

I decided to save money by going through my floss and just ordering what I thought I could use more of/was out of. When I was done, I hit the button. A screen came up saying the server could be busy, blah blah and to try again. I then tried again. Same screen. Tried again, and same screen. I finally...
