the challenge itself was quite hard for me, the worst bit was the feathering, kept miscounting, so ended up doing block by block, which was a little easier. Well that's the summer stitching challenge done, had to do 10 squares in chequer board (with feathering)! Love the chequer board style but didn't enjoy the feathering, too confusing for me. My latest update of the Astronomer, I just love the different colours in it and how it comes to life after a few different colours are stitched.

I am seeing very randomly by colour, but loving it.

I am just loving how The Astronomer is coming together, this is a challenge page, has to be completed by the end of March to get a free HAED chart (as if I need another one). It's amazing how a few stitches here and there can make such a difference in the way it looks. Hope you don't mind me posting...

hi, thank you. I am not using a stand, I use a frame and just fold the excess fabric and pin it to the edge, works ok for me.
