Hello, my name is Zeb and I'm a Just Nan addict
Anyone else a fan of Just Nan? :) I recently took photos of my entire Just Nan collection. It was funny, as I did it I realised I didn't have as much as I thought I had! http://www.ixari.net/just-nan-cross-stitch-collection/" target="_blank This year I'm running the Just Nan stitch ...

Re: Clear file binders for pattern storage
Hey Jarvis, yes I have. Unfortunately NZ only seems to stock standard A4 sizing. Next size up is A3 which is massive.
I've heard that sizing is a little different in America?

Clear file binders for pattern storage
I'm looking to find clear file plastic slips that I can insert into binders. I want to organise all my charts into these so I can easily store and access my collection of patterns. The problem is all the slips I can find are A4 in size, and not all the patterns are A4. Most of than not, many are sli...

How do YOU set your eyelets?
I've been looking at the various eyelet setters out there and was wondering how you set your eyelets on your craft projects, most especially on fabrics? Slowly building up my tool set for finishing my cross stitch, and I've always loved the look of eyelets through a stitched piece. I want to buy a t...

Places to buy hand-dyed/sparkling fabric
I need to build up my collection of fabrics, and was wondering if anyone could recommend online stores that sold hand-dyed/sparkling fabric. I know of Polstitches and Sparklies What I wanna know is whether they are reliable and ship in reasonable time frames. I don't want to wait 2 to 3 months to re...

Re: Has the Postman brought you anything Fun 2011
I both love and hate this thread. Love it because of all the pretties you guys are getting. Hate it because it makes me want to go on a shopping spree, but when I do there is nothing I want to buy. It's like the latest designs that have been coming out lately just aren't to my taste. Too nostalgic/q...

Re: how did you start?
I loved reading this thread. We've all discovered stitching in such vastly different ways :) I was chilling out at a friend's place for a couple of weeks a number of years ago, and was bored to tears while the friend was out working. I noticed some of the cross stitch stuff she had on display and wa...

Re: It's alive... alive!
Hey Carole, I finished another design in the last two days while on holiday. It features a Snapper, a local fish in New Zealand waters for my dad that you can see here (last picture) http://www.geekchixxx.com/2011/10/mangawhai/" target="_blank I've got Teresa Wentzler's Peacock Majesty kit...

Re: Found!! Peacock Majesty
Congrats! This is such a hard design to find. I found mine on eBay too in exactly the same way you do.
Thank heavens for bad spelling, otherwise it's impossible to get on eBay at a decent price!

So I used to be a regular member here last year, but life and other things took over and I sort of, well, dissapeared :( I've only recently gotten back to stitching and am touching base with all my favourite haunts (including this forum.) Current wips and finishes can be viewed here: http://www.geek...
