Re: Rosemary pattern

Hello ladies, Thank you for your replies, I feel so relieved now that I am not the one :D. Your choices will be mine  @ RosemaryH: As my friend's name is the same as yours, I have visited your gallery right after your response and really loved your rosemary work :applesauce: . I found the sam...

Rosemary pattern

Hello ladies, I am trying to find a nice rosemary pattern to stitch for a friend. I've found some Herb booklets online and now have to choose one, but (as a foreigner) I just know that rosemary has long narrow leaves and purple/violet flowers, in these patterns I am not so sure where rosemary is. Co...

Hi, I make cardboard bobbins myself, because it doesn't cost anything but time and I can customize dimensions as I want to fit in the containers (if they are not standard ones), one more minor reason: the cardboard is one side black, one side white, so the whole lot of floss looks great to me either...

To me beyond the beauty of the works when finished, especially when they are gifts, cross-stitching really helps me be patient and careful. Also when I cross stitch, it is really a relaxing time and I almost forget all blues. The only thing is that, we don't have enough time to stitch when we are yo...

I know that there will be this question. That's why I said "Russian sites" because honestly I don't know Russian and although I believe that copying those instructions is okay, I cannot assure it. It came from a friend who studied in Russia and she forgot to put in the links, otherwise I'd...

Thanks Alyson, you are soooo fast to comment! ... and I wonder whether we have instructions for perfect/neat back in the forum... If not, I can post them in :) One more thing, I am a new cross-stitcher (less than 1.5yr experience) and I mostly work on small patterns, so... if I can do it, this is re...

Double-sided works

I think you have yet talked about this. As I have a double-sided bookmark which many would think that it has a very neat back (like those of many of yours), I would like to post it up here to have bigger picture, so that you can see a new way to stitch things like bookmarks, napkins, towels... in ge...

I was too busy cropping and resizing my pictures to build my gallery, and when I get back to this topic, there seems to be a lot of fun here. Needless to say but I didn't mean - at all - that what you were talking about was neither interesting nor helpful, honeys, what I meant: - No matter British o...

Lucky you! I've lost my needle all the time and sometimes couldn't find them anywhere, especially when they are dropped into the carpet. Fortunately they are not sharp! Maybe next time I should use the fridge magnet :D

I wonder how your pony doll looks like also.
