Re: How do you organize your floss?

    I'm in complete shock that many of you save the pieces of thread leftover from a project! I just recently found stitch bows (and LOVE THEM- i hated winding bobbins) but i dont save the leftover thread from a project. I put my colors on a project card a snip at a time....

Re: left over thread

Given the time i spent stitching versus the cost of this hobby it is by far the cheapest one I do- and bits of floss dont bo...

The chart im working on (rose of sharon) has tons of this and i hate hate hate it. i figured tehre might be a name for it rather than the curse words im thinking. Especially since im doing over 1 on 32 and the colors are so similar im not sure i...

Re: Eating/drinking whilst stitching....

One of the main benefits of stitching is that it keeps me from (bored) eating and drinking. If i am home and watching tv I Like to be doing something- often if i can fill my hands with stitching it prevents me from wanting to snack. Sometimes ill have a water around but im not too worried about wate...

I use the easy count line linked above. I know its just repackaged fishing line but honestly its only a few dollars. If i remember correctly it was about 6$ for the line. Best money ive spent :) I really like how small and compact it is (good to throw in my bag without it unwinding everywhere) i HATE...

Re: How many UFO's do you have?

I tried to pick it up again and after 5 stitches decided to just toss it. I don't need to revisit that time and...
