No, I didn't. I figured I was just stuck with it.

I guess it wouldn't hurt to ask.

Re: I made a huge mistake

Gosh, I don't know any small children or any adults who would like to do cross stitching.

Gosh I wish that hadn't happened to me.
Maybe I could put it up for sale on ebay at a large discount.
IF I could figure out how to do that.

I made a huge mistake

I ordered some aida fabric online and I mistakenly ordered 8 count and I wanted 14 count. I do NOT know how that happened but I was surely dissappointed when I opened the package. I have no idea what to do with an 8 count fabric. I thought 11 count was big.......8 count is huge. Does anyone have any...

Re: Why is it?????

I used to make some of my own frames. {I do a little woodworking, also.}
So if you could find a local woodworker they could probably make you a frame at a reasonable cost to fit your needlework piece exactly to your specifications.

Re: Metallic Threads

I have a project going with DMC Light Effects in the pattern. I hated it.......but all the stitiches are done now that it called for, so I'm finished with it. It split, frayed, difficult to get thru the material.....doesn't lie flat like regular floss, I just generally did not like working with it, ...

Re: Not as good as I'd like

I was going to say that I noticed a variation in tensions on my owls project, but I think that's because I held it rather than use a frame/hoop. Funnily enough, I also thought I noticed a difference in tension depending on the time of day I stitched ... but maybe that was more my imagination. :oops...

Re: Scary rumours at work

Wow, it looks like the economy is affecting everyone, not just us in the USA. My state has recently posted that we are to expect budget cuts, also. They are able to move some of that around by eliminating positions that are not filled and get rid of some of the cuts like that, but some branches of o...

But you can save it to be passed down as an heirloom when he is married and having a family. It may go into hiding for a few years until then, but he will appreciate it when he's older and has those little ones of his own.

My BF had an email from Microsoft asking her to update her profile. She should have known better but did it. They took over her hotmail account and changed her pasword.
