Thank you. I like the sounds of the stitch witchery much better. It does scare me to do the fusible interfacing. I've worked to hard and long on this project to mess it up at the last moment. I will let you know what I decide to do.
Thanks for answering and giving me an alternative solution.

Help in using Fusible interfacing on back of projects
Hi, I have a pattern that calls for using fusible interfacing on back of my project, has anyone done this? It sounds kind of scary to me? It says to center and apply the piece of fusible interfacing to the back of the needlework according to the manufacturer's instruction, then fold back the sides o...

Re: Plastic Canvas
I am searching for some needleloft rust #09 yarn. I can't seem to find any on the internet and am hoping that someone out there is willing to sell me a skein. I need it for tissue cover box.
Thank you,

Re: Apps you use
I had never heard of such an app but I'd sure like to find one. Of course it needs to be simple. I do a lot of different crafts and if there was one for each craft that would be fantastic. I will be keeping an eye out for any answers to this.
Thanks for letting us know about such a thing.

Cross Stitch and Needlework Magazine
I have been wondering if the magazine Cross Stitch and Needlework is still being printed. I know you can get it online but can't see if it still is being sold in stores. Our Boyds Pharmacy did carry it but not anymore.
Thank you
Thank you

Autumn Door Hanger question
Hi, It's been a long time since I've posted but I'm trying to finish a project called Autumn Door Hanger from the Sept 2008 Cross-Stitch & Needlework magazine. In the finishing instructions it calls for using fusible interfacing, fusible web & wool felt to be put on the back. I may want to w...

Re: Need Plastic Canvas help
Matilda, Wow, that is an idea. I'll see about doing that but I have found with crocheting that when I double back that the ends don't come out, even with several washings and I had hoped that I wouldn't have to double back with something that wouldn't be washed but I'd hate to not do it with all the...

Re: Need Plastic Canvas help
Jennifer, Thanks so much for answering my question. I am making the tissue box cover that has 4 rectangular pieces for the sides and one for the top. I like your suggestions, I certainly will try it. Have you had a problem with your ends coming our by just going over it once? I'd rather do that then...

Need Plastic Canvas help
Hi, I am making a tissue box cover from an old Annie's Attic pattern. It's been years since I've make anything in plastic canvas. Can anyone tell me whether to start pattern at the top or bottom of the pattern. The pattern is of a rose with leaves and has several color changes. I couldn't find any t...

Re: Anchoring thread
WOW, I didn't expect a reply so fast let alone this many. Thank you all so much. I'm glad to know that the Scarlet Quince method works well. Carole, do you run your thread back through the same stitches that you went under the first time or go up another row. You all are wonderful. I always read the...

Anchoring thread
Hi, I have crossed stitched for several years and have always anchored my thread by going under four or five stitches then turning it around and going back through on another row under three or four stitches. I don't really like this method but I don't want my stitches to come out. I just recently f...

I have lost a copy of a pattern but was lucky enough to know someone who also had it. What is the pattern name and who made it?

Re: Gallery Pictures
Slinky,
I just looked at yours and am amazed at the variety you have and how many projects you have done.
I'm afraid I'm rather bad about that I will do better from now on. It does make us feel good when someone does comment. So I in the future am going to try harder to do that.
