For many years now I have used a Grip n Stitch frame for my sewing projects. Wether on Aida or Evenweave in fact any material it is much better than a hoop as you can make the frame to fit any size, also you do not get that circle around your finished project. My main stash of threads are kept on card numbered order. But using threads on a project I found the thread organiser purchased from Sew it All a real boon! Apart from different coloured organisers for different projects there is a thread cutter at the top which is great especially when travelling!!

If you are stitching with two strands another idea is you use one strand from each dye so they are slightly muted. The effect is often nicer than just a plain flat colour.

Looks great, another idea for framing is 'grip n frame' I got mine form a company called Sew it All, it was so easy to use and looks great.
