Granny Weatherwax is back!
Dear all, After lurking for years, I decided to give an update on my stitching project. I am currently (and the upcoming years 😋) working on a 32-count Zweigart, Antique white cloth measuring 1,8 m wide by 3 m long, full cross, 2 over 2 DMC. I am going to make a bedsheet for my 2-year old in an Efte...

Re: Quick daily posts
Yes & no respectively Mabel. Everyone in our household is fully aware of the relative positions of cats & humans in the pecking order. Humans are not the dominant species in the view of any of us. Debby, Albert was, erm, unusual. OK, he was a one-off. It's not every cat that launches unprov...

Re: Stashmas 2020
Hi everyone, Just was thinking about a suggestion for stashmas. What if an easy, doable xstitch pattern in pdf was chosen. A pattern which forum members could buy for a small fee. And the mission is to make it your own, e.g. by adapting the pattern or colours or way of finishing. And to give it to a...
Re: Afghans
I have stitched a lot of afghans over the years. I started them because framing was so expensive and also because I would have a hard time deciding which chart I would want to stitch of a particular subject area. My afghans are mostly themed as I have given many as gifts. I usually would sort of &q...

Re: Quick daily posts
After having read Mabels blog, I went with my little daughter to Pelgrimshoeve (a large second-hand shop) today and bought 30 dmc skeins for 50 cents each!
So happy! I am going to write down my missing dmc skeins and return to increase my stash!

Re: Granny's stitching - update 12-07-2020
Thank you all! Welcome back  ! Wow, that Efteling project is making me proper nostalgic - as a Dutch child of the seventies, that was THE place you wanted to go and it was magical! It still is, Mabel! Only after stitching Langnek, when I was collecting all the Efteling crosstitch collectables,...

Re: Granny's stitching - update 12-07-2020
Good morning!
Could anyone tell me how to / help me update the title of my post?
I change it by hand now, but I was wondering how to change it in the SAL board view.
Thank you for your help!

Granny's stitching - update 11-07-2020
Dear all, It has been a while since I last posted an update. Life happened. However, I loved watching your progress at the forum. I finished ‘Langnek’ and I am going to frame it for my daughter so we are able to note how fast she is growing. I have started a new project by Thea Gouverneur featuring ...
